I was looking at the TimeClock Pearl Network Solution and wanted to be able to install the software on the server but to do Payroll Administration from another computer. Can we do that? And is there additional cost for the number of workstations employees use to clock in/out using their web browser?

The Network Solution purchase price includes a license to install one copy of FileMaker Pro that is used to host and administrate TimeClock Pearl.  Employees access TimeClock Pearl using their web browser.  If you want to host TimeClock Pearl on one workstation or server and administrate it from another, you can do so, but it requires you purchase an additional FileMaker Pro License from us (Affinity Software).  If you already own FileMaker software products, no additional purchase is required.   Pricing for TimeClock Pearl is based on the number of employees in the system, not the number of workstations used to access TimeClock Pearl via web browser or FileMaker.  FileMaker Pro is the client version of FileMaker, Inc.'s database software (they also have server versions) used to host and administrate TimeClock Pearl.  It supports up to 5 simultaneous web sessions - so 5 employees can be clocking in/out at the same time. Since clocking in/out only takes 5-10 seconds, 50 employees could clock in/out in a 2 minute period from 50 different workstations.
