Calculating overtime - I just printed my first payroll report and found that overtime was not calculated correctly. It looks like it only counted hours after 40 h per week. In California, I am required to pay overtime for more than 8 hours in a day, even if the employee works less than 40 h per week. Is there any way to have this calculated by the program so that I do not have to make the calculation manually?

TimeClock Pearl calculates overtime based on 40 hours per week and doesn't include the option of user custom overtime rules, e.g. any hours over 8 per day.  If you use the auto lunch deduct (30 or 60 minutes), employees would only have one time clock entry per day allowing you to quickly identify and manually note days in which an employee worked more than 8 hours. You could also use the "Round to the Nearest 15 minutes System Preference to help both employees and timekeepers monitor daily overtime.
